2022 starts with a weekend of plantations

The Mountain Valley Urban Park is greener, with the planting of the city's first Rapid Forest.

The city's first Rapid Forest has begun being planted in Lisbon, through a 2500m2 pilot project with the goal of growing natural forests in relatively small spaces.

These biodiverse, native mini-forests achieve full sustainability in three years and absorb 265% more carbon than traditional reforestation methods.

This is a project of the environmental NGO Urbem, in partnership with the Lisbon City Council and Life Lungs, and the protocol support of the Conexus project.
