Biodiverse rainfed meadows: training sessions
In november, training sessions about the installation and management of biodiverse rainfed meadows are taking place at the facilities of Parque Recreativo do Alvito.
The aim of these sessions is to provide trainees with skills for design, installation and maintenance of biodiverse meadows.
Biodiverse meadows are becoming increasingly important in the urban environment as a tool for climate change mitigation and environmental conservation.
The training sessions are aimed to employees of the Lisbon City Council´s Municipal Directorate for the Environment, Green Structure, Climate and Energy and to employees of the parish councils and municipalities of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.
