Mayor visits the sheep at Parque da Bela Vista

The Mayor, Fernando Medina, was today, 24th of May, at the Bela Vista Park, to visit the LIFE LUNGS project, the flock of sheep and the sheepfold.

Visiting the Reception Centre for Refugee Children (CACR), the Mayor took the opportunity to see the flock of sheep grazing on the biodiverse dry meadow in front of the centre, as well as the recently renovated sheepfold.

On site, the manager of the LIFE LUNGS presented the project, which aims to adapt the city to climate change.

In attendance were also Councillor Manuel Grilo and Councillor José Sá Fernandes.
