The Adriano Correia de Oliveira Primary School visits the sheep at Bela Vista

On the morning of May 19th, the third grade class from Escola Básica Adriano Correia de Oliveira, in Olivais, visited the Bela Vista Park, as part of the Life Lungs project.

In order to encourage more sustainable behaviour in young people when using public spaces and to make them aware of the issue of climate change, the class spent a country morning in the middle of the city.

After an educational session on climate change and, more specifically, on sheep and the various tree species in the meadow, knowledge was put into practice with games on the subject.

The morning ended with a close-up visit to the sheep flock - the children went inside the fence in small groups to meet the sheep and the goat that accompanies them.
